This week, on Monday 19th July or ‘Freedom Day’ to coin a phrase, the Government lifted almost all legal restrictions in England surrounding Covid-19. Whilst the rules may have changed, the Government has issued guidance to continue to help prevent the spread of the disease. The main message conveyed to people across the country is to err on the side of caution, use their personal judgment and common sense by considering the risks to protect themselves and others.
The safety and wellbeing of our customers are at the forefront of all we do (but we’ll come to that bit later) Firstly, the Check 4 Houses team would like to take this opportunity to send a huge thank you to all our clients, customers, colleagues and the wider community, for their continued support, cooperation, and understanding over the past eighteen months. It really has meant a lot – we’ve been so grateful to have been able to keep you moving safely throughout this unprecedented time.
So the rules have changed but what does this mean to our customers? Although the government has removed many of the legal restrictions in place, as a business, we have decided to continue to wear face coverings when on appointments, accompanied valuations and viewings – we politely request that you do the same unless otherwise exempt. We will, of course, continue to report any symptoms and follow guidance from the NHS Track and Trace system on when to self-isolate, again we would politely request that you do the same so we can keep our team and the people they meet as safe as possible.
We want to reassure you that we’ll continue to monitor developments, and our policies will be continually reviewed and amended in line with further government guidelines and advice on home moving, these guidelines of which are available to view at: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/moving-home-during-coronavirus-covid-19
Whilst it’s lovely to see a much-awaited return to ‘normal’ we must continue to act responsibly and keep everyone safe as best possible. Once again, we would like to thank you for your cooperation and understanding regarding the measures in place for everyone’s protection.
Should you need any further information on this matter or wish to arrange a valuation or viewing, please do not hesitate to call Check 4 Houses on 01252 819725.
